I Dreamt I was a Baby Again PDF Print E-mail

I dreamt I was a baby again

And I was wearing a nappy

I crawled on the floor

Couldn’t open the door

But felt most contented and happy

I dreamt I was a baby again

It really was fabulous fun

I sat in my high chair

Cuddled my teddy bear

And I had just one tooth in my gum

I dreamt I was a baby again

Less than one-year old

I was only this tall (motion)

Did not go to school

And had free buggy rides down my road

I dreamt I was a baby again

With mashed up food to eat

I gurgled and laughed

Splashed about in the bath

And wore booties on both of my feet

I dreamt I was a baby again

I had at least seventeen dummies

I slept in a crib

Wore a dinosaur bib

And spent most of the day with my Mummy

I dreamt I was a baby again

But it was a dream nothing more

So when I woke up

I sat up and spoke up

Shouting “I’m NOT a baby I’m…[count fingers]

One…

Two…

Three…

Four!”
