Chopsticks

Soft noodles tangled up my hair

Egg fried rice spread across the chair

Crispy prawn balls rolled on the rug

Wontons plopped in Dad’s coffee mug

Sweet and sour pork fell to the floor

Hot soy sauce decorated the door

The carpet was ruined by a chow mein stain

So I’m not gonna use chopsticks again
