Dangerous Fruit

A banana skin made me slip and trip

I cracked a tooth on an orange pip

Lemon juice squirted in my eye

I sat on a pineapple and cried

Melon plus foot equalled broken bone

I nearly choked swallowing a cherry stone

An apple hurt my head falling from a tree

Yet you still insist fruit is good for me
